Over $15,000 raised for Hands On India

As you may already be aware, one of our Chiropractors, Andrew Moulton will be heading to India for two weeks with Hands On India, a not-for-profit secular charity organisation that helps children achieve their optimal potential through education, health care and empowering the community.

Hands-On India provides funding for over 700 children to go to school, and 2000 women to gain economic independence. Each year they run an annual volunteer trip where 30 Chiropractors provide hands-on musculoskeletal care for those working as tea pickers or rock breakers.

The trip is entirely self-funded, and each Chiropractor who attends is expected to do some form of fundraising to further multiply the impact that their work in the region has on the local economy.

Last Saturday Andrew hosted a fundraising event at his house, which raised over $15,000 for the organisation. That’s enough to provide education for 300 children for one year!

Andrew will be heading away on the 1st of February and coming back on the 16th of February, however, there is still plenty of time to donate.

Speak to one of our friendly receptionists, or make a donation through the Hands On India website to make a donation (please reference AM in your payee description). Donations are entirely tax deductible and 100% of the money raised will be used with local communities in India.
